Wednesday, November 22, 2006UPDATE:Friday, 17th November: Had extra Choir practice 'cos we couldn't get the song nailed. :S Went to Elsa's for the bbq cum sleepover with Marianne after that. Swam-> ate a whole lot of nice food-> talked about guys, figures... Very typical er, girly content. -.- Was fun though. Could complain, ask questions... Yeah. Got -chided- for being 'so innocent' at one point even. When the 3 of us went back up to Elsa's, we had this Baby Interaction Session (BIS) for a bit with her baby cousin. So adorable lah he. (: LOL. ANYWAYS. Marianne couldn't stay over : / ; her dad picked her up later. MIDNIGHT MOVIE MARATHON. Watched X-Men 1&2; snacks consumed included 2 pints of Ben&Jerry's (New York Super Fudge and Fossil Fuel) , and more bbq food. YUMMYYUMMY. The ice-cream was shared among 4 girls. SO IN ALL I ATE HALF A PINT OF ICE CREAM IN A NIGHT. :O Or maybe more because Elsa kept skipping her turn and I didn't. LOL so pai seh. ANYWAYS. We all were too tired to watch X-Men 3 as originally planned so we washed up and supposedly went to bed though it didn't happen. Elsa and I ended up talking MORE until about 5am. So yeah. Woke up at 9++ the next morning; her parents brought us out for breakfast :D ; came back and watched a little of The Incredibles; her folks sent me back. Thanks to Elsa & family for the wonderful time!! 18th, 19th & 20th November: Nothing of great interest happened.(: 21st & 22nd November: CHOIR WORKSHOP AT ST NICK'S. Wow ok that was really intensive. Spent about 16+ hours in all singing. !! Inclusive of breaks lah of course. But even than, take away 3 hours for lunch and in-practice breaks and we'd sung for 13 hours. WHOA. And erm I'm so proud of Group C (aka the Butterfly~~ group) . We managed to kind of gao dim the song during the first day; the rest we mostly worked on expression and dynamics so it was cool. The concert put up at the end of it all was pretty ok. Ms Lim said that among her 3 Girls' choirs (St Nicks, Nanyang and us, TK) , she liked our sound best. XD Though there're other very important stuff we still have to work on lah. JIA YOU PEOPLE GO FOR THAT GOLD WITH HONOURS!! :D Deb Labels: Week in Review 2 |
