Sunday, April 26, 2009Edited 10 May 2009! (But I know you won't be able to tell, hahahahaha.)I love the word count function on Microsoft Word. Sometimes it frustrates you, but sometimes it doesn't. It's the latter for me now though. (I'm currently doing a zuo wen for tuition that's one month overdue, heh heh) I screwed up the English papers on Wednesday. Megasigh. Now I know I CANNOT SLEEP AT 2 PLUS THE DAY BEFORE A PAPER. Common sense it should be, but common sense is not very common to me I guess. This week overall though, has been pretty rockin'. ;D Surprises, suspense and superrrrr things abound. Random- Ms Tong's comments on Monday's performance were so nice, I melted. At stake for the mid-years: 1. Ice cream (Fiona) 2. A "big hug" (Ms Tong) HAHAHA. :D Oh and. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY THAHIRA! (24th) Thanks for being such a fab gossip partner from the time we were watch and tent mates in OBS till now. You'll get your present on Monday k! (: HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN APARNA! It was fab sitting next to you. (: Good night ladies. 230409(: Monday, April 20, 200920TH APRIL 2009:1. HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN GINA! I love you many many. (: 2. GOLD WITH HONOURSSSSSSSSSS!!! :D:D We're bringing assembly to the courtyard tomorrow, and you can be certain we're gonna scream the school down when they make the announcement. Whoa I tell you ah, we emoted the song like never before. ("My hair was standing when you all sang Itsuki"- Mrs Foo and "Whoa this Ruth ah, moved so much, gave me a lot of pressure"- Vivien) And we were definitely not as sharp as during the practice. Although we still eventually were, but... Yah lah. So basically this is what happened. Mrs Foo (who is supposed to give us the results) is upstairs with a few girls, while the rest of the choir is assembled at the foyer. Suddenly, we hear people screaming. And some (like me) go "huh huh gold with honours??" and eventually you have a foyer full of screaming, jumping, hugging and escatic girls. AHHHHHHHHHH OH MY GOSH! I tell you, it was madness. I think I even jumped on my precious white bag please. And I didn't even bother to finish removing my make-up properly. (I unknowingly went home with smudged eyeliner oh joy) This is really incredible. I left the stage almost in tears (I have no idea why), was hysterical while gripping Dian's hand down the steps at VCH and couldn't stop wondering if we were really okay on stage. Though I figured that we more or less were, because Ms Lim didn't seem pissed at us. I AM SO HAPPYYYYYYYYYY. Kudos and bouqets and hugs and love to everyone who made this possible- Ms Lim, Ms Chai, Ms Yin, Ms Tong, Mrs Foo, Mrs Chua, US (duh goes without saying right), Mrs Lim, Mrs Chia, Mrs Tan, Ms Terry (thank you for coming down!), Dian's dad, the Choir seniors (classes of '06, '07 and '08) and all the current TKGians who supported, believed in us, wished us well, bought us stuff and will share in our joy, supportive folks and siblings and God. (: I now have a better idea of what to write in the notes I meant to (but didn't give) give you guys today. I just wish I could help to inspire you a little with a note BEFORE SYF. But nevermind. I'm happy, you're happy, TKGS is happy. (Ahem ahem holiday for fab CCA achievements this year please) Monday, 20th April 2009 is a massive massive joy for more reasons than one.
