Sunday, September 16, 2007I'll tell you something absolutely stupid.You see my tagboard there? Er yeah of course you do. That 'tang' person I replied to? IT'S NOT MARISSA. It's Joel. From church. -.- !!! And to top it off, I've no idea as to how to delete that stupid tag of mine. Cool right. Anyway. History was on Friday, and HAHAHA let's just say I kinda could do it, but I didn't finish a lot of it. Typical. And right now as I'm typing this, I'm supposed to be doing English. Yes, ENGLISH. [Partly because I didn't want to do Geog] Stupid lah. Because I'm only supposed to be charging my mp3 thing now. This is turning out to be a really random post. Hmph. I'll go see what I can do about my Friendster profile, because it hasn't been updated in 20 000 years. Chow lovelies. But I'll try to keep it to myself; I'll do my darndest to.Labels: Try. I don't exactly feel like recounting yesterday though it was one of the better days of the holidays so far, but I guess for the sake of my uh memory, I'll just jot it down here. MORNING- Went to mum's friend's place to swim, get a sunburn in the process, play with her (mum's friend's) daughters, have lunch and get some counselling. Me, I mean. Pleasant visit I guess..? Yeah. AFTERNOON- Was about 2 hours late for the study date at Jia Min's with Fiona, JM and Brenda. Sorry guys. :l Brought over Ben & Jerry's as -instructed- to though. The 3 of them took lots of random/weird pictures . Go see anyone of their blogs soon; the pics should be up in no time. EVENING- Went over to grandma's for usual Friday dinner. TENTATIVE PLANS FOR TODAY- MORNING/AFTERNOON- Advance birthday lunch for grandpa, and then HCL tuition. The tuition thing is like bad because I've 10 000 weeks of homework I've yet to complete. EVENING- A possible watching of that Rat movie (who knows how to spell it??) with the family. I don't really feel like going though. Oh yeah. Something I really wanted to say yesterday in the morning, but didn't get to. Uh no, I'm not complaining that the person didn't tag or whatever. I just wanted to say it. Haha. Labels: Confession of sorts Wednesday, September 05, 2007HELLO, I'VE FINALLY RISEN FROM THE DEAD. Okay whatever. My internet connection at home, after an uber-long period of 2 months, has finally been restored. And during that 2 months, I lost my online life. All the blog-hopping, blogging, Friendster (I don't particularly love it but there's things to keep up with so yeah -.-'''), Youtube and what not. It's an integral part of my life, but what could I do lah. Anyway. This post is for: 1. Those who -want- me to post again, and 2. My sanity. I'm trying to keep it intact, though to not much avail. -.-''' So I'll start with the KUKU piano exam today. Wow like I messed up almost everything. Pieces were the same. Not much change from how I usually play. Scales and Arpeggios, terrible. The last arpeggio the nice examiner asked me to play, I didn't even finish it. Just gave up. Some second inversion thing. LOL. Sight reading, well it's never been my forte. Aural. STUPID, because the naming the cadences thing, I said it was "Perfect" at first. But then in the end when the examiner asked me to name the individual chords, I said IV - I. Which is like wrong lah, because, only Plagal is IV - I. And then Perfect is V - I. She looked bewildered at the end of the test, and had to ask me to name the stupid thing again. So yeah. I don't thing I'll pass, though I honestly am very very sick of the piano. But if I fail, it'd be pretty darn wasted too, because I spent an insane amount of hours at the music studio practising over the weekend and on Monday. I mean half the time I was like stoning (ie, playing random songs and the vocal warm-up things we do in Choir lah) or dreaming or whatever. But yeah. Actually staying at home is of not much use either. I'd still be stoning. Because er knowing me, I'm not likely to mug or do some good constructive thing. I've never studied hard in my life. No I'm not proud of that. But it's what's happening so yeah. CONSEQUENCES: If I fail (likely), - I HAVE TO REPEAT GRADE 8. -$300+ would have gone down the drain. -Everyone will be disappoinited. Grandaunt especially. Which is bad, because she wants me to pass really badly. If I pass, - NO MORE PIANO EXAMS FOR FOREVER, HIP HIP HOORAY. XD - Er, I'll get $100 from my grand aunt? LOL. So anyway yeah. That's about it for my piano exam. Some random stuff. AHH I hope all goes well tomorrow, cause if it does I'll get my mp3 player. Woohoo. I know it's a bit late lah. But yeah. I've already got a short list of songs I want to put in it. Err I know this is random, but as of now I've written Chin's, Marianne's, Phyllis' and Gayathri's letters. Will be delivering them ASAP. GinaLee I'm aware I still owe you one too LOL. Uh, Avryl I'll do my best to call you tonight. It's been 10 000 years. I wish my life wasn't so messed up. You can name me any one aspect of my life now, and I'll be able to tell you what's wrong with it. Err like for example I owe an insane number of tags, Friendster testis / comments. My not going online for 2 months, has crazy effects. Friendster and Youtube have change in the layout, blogs I usually read have not been checked out (though I've finished with one uber long blogger, which is a monumental acievement of sorts -.-) Better be going.
