MERRY CHRISTMAS WORLD! :DD

Yes the above is a special visual treat. The most colourful line in my entire blogging history. :D LOL. -.-

Anyway, it's been a longggg time since I last put out a post, so I'll do some updates. IknowIknow, I said I won't put out my whole holiday itinerary here, but I don't know what else to put, so here goes.

Dec 7-8: No recollection.

Dec 9: Went over to Aunty M's to spend the night. Rational- Rhema (Conference 2007) was at Grace 2, which is in Bukit Batok. Aunty M stays much nearer the area then I do. So, it meant it'd be easier to get there the next morning. Didn't attend the opening night service though.

Dec 10-12: Rhema! HAHA. Services, lunch, workshops, games, dinner, night rallies. And of course, bonding lah. Stuff I'll remember: Evan's 4 uh friends, Jun Hui's Rain&Wind MTV, Amanda doing back-up vocals (is that what you call it??) on stage, Hui Jun's funny-ness, Shereen's cheekiness (if there's such a word). How Phyllis had to travel from Simei to Bukit Batok everyday, Ying Yian's niceness, Gab's wackiness, Anthea having to shout at me because The Dawning was so loud. The armpit hair plucking (thank God I was just a spectator), Daniel taking off his shirt for the fastest-line game, and the resulting picture, THE MOOSE (absolutely hilarious). Eating bittergourd which wasn't really bitter, the bread-stuffing and singing, the camou paint. Good time of fellowship. Ohoh. And I stayed at Jun Hui's aunt's/uncle's place. Thank you for being such great hosts! And to JH, thanks for making the arrangements. Really appreciate it. The late-night talking we did on the first night was great too. :D And uh, for staring at me until I dried my hair, heh thanks for that too. One more thing- Ying Yian, be careful! Wet t-shirt! ;O

Dec 13: Mum's birthday! Had sectionals at Dian's in the morning. It was pretty fun, the last part. We turned online stalkers, and made some interesting dicoveries, as Fiona puts it. :D Went to Aston's for a really nice dinner. At very good prices! Met Ms Su and Jocelyn around that area. Hoho. Went to godpa's later, because he bought donuts for us. Fun visit it was.

Dec 14: Movie (Enchanted) with Gayathri and Wendy. HAHAHA Wendy laughed and fell off her chair. No kidding. And I treated them to the movie snacks because I was so terribly late. :P Gayathri remember my rubberband the next time we meet! Came home. Aunty M and Josh were over. Baked the plain rich cookies. Messed up the thing, although I've done it 10 000 times this year. Went over to grandma's late. Sold Ee the biscuits. OOPS. Lesson learnt: read instructions carefully. No one in the right state of mind mixes flour into buttercream. -.- I've certainly learnt my lesson.

Dec 15: Amanda Lim's and Elizabeth's birthday!

Dec 16: Evan dropped some news to Hui Jun and I. After she told us the second thing, I was like, I really love you Evan. Thank you for the chance/opportunity. I'm honoured. Really. :)

Dec 17: Went door-to-door to sell the remaining cookies (it's for Choir fundraising) with Fiona, Elsa and Sheryl. Jia Min joined in for a bit. Crazy expereince it was. Never rang so many door bells in a day. Also, the first time I got laughed at very hysterically just by saying to 2 young boys, "hello are your parents home?" Thanks however to Mrs Foo, for driving us to the various blocks and for the pau. Haha. :D

Dec 18: I think I went to Parkway to collect the Nokia. The keypad was wonkers. So I had it repaired. Lol. OH. And Avryl left for Hong Kong. (: She sent a message before she left.

Dec 19: ??

Dec 20: Was -kidnapped- by the family to go out. Kidnapped I say, because initially I didn't want to go anywhere. But eventually I enjoyed myself. Took the cable car to Sentosa. Went on the Luge (which is pretty darn fun) and the sky lift (I think that's what it's called.) Had a bus ride around. Took the cable car back. Went to Swenson's at Vivo later for dinner.

Dec 21: I baked rock cakes. Mum helped.

Dec 22: Baked somemore. Plain rich biscuits. And this time, I didn't put flour into the buttercream (Applause please) Mum helped, just like the day before. Went over to mum's cousin's place for housewarming. Sold 3 containers of cookies and rock cakes. Got extra donation! So thank you grandaunt! Sold some earrings and handphone keychains. Thank you uncles and grandaunt's sis! HAHA. Met Qi and Ning. These lucky people, had just come back from a CRUISE the day before. (My passport's gone unstamped for a year)

Dec 23: Pre-cell, Evan met with Hui Jun and I. Poor thing though, she kept getting interrupted. :O Cell! Presents abound. Had gift-exchange. Evan, Jun Hui, Shereen, Hui Jun, Phyllis, Gab, Phyllis and Amanda, thank you for all the souvenirs, notes and gifts! I hope they liked the rainbow sprinkle biscuits too. Service. Then, combined cell outing! Footsteps + us, POG. We train-ed, bussed, then walked veryvery long to Settler's cafe in Holland V. Settler's, is nice. But the food is very expensive. Yeah. Ate, talked, laughed and played Taboo. Took a train back later with Xiu Qing, Evan, Jun Hui, Hui Jun, and Gab. It was quite fun.

Dec 24: Went out with Hui Jun to get gifts. Yes I better hope no one from POG reads this before Friday. Quite crazy. Went to x, then y, then to x again. But I got dad's, Dan's, Joe's and of course, ahemahems' presents! Came home. The folks scolded me when they found out I went back to x from y. Lesson learnt, don't tell them everything. I really have a big mouth. Got -scolded- for something else also. I couldn't defend myself. That one, I diedie can't tell them. LOL. Anyway, HJ, thanks for staying with me so long in the gift-buying when you needn't have. (:

Dec 25: Christmas! Christmas service in the morning with the whole family. Thank you Hannah for the shell! It's very cute. (: And yes I know, I've got the wrong attitude towards Christmas. It's not about thinking up, buying, wrapping and giving gifts. It's really all about Jesus. And God. I REALLY NEED TO GET SOME THINGS RIGHT. It's the Birth of Jesus. How He came down from Heaven to walk among man, died for their sins and resurrected, and is right now in Heaven. God, please grant me faith in 2008! Really. So yeah. Mum, thank you for decorating the mugs. They're really nice. :D

Dec 26: Choir practice. Which I was late for once again. It was bad-average, really bad, then okay again. I learnt one thing- LOOK AT THE CONDUCTOR, NO MATTER WHO SHE/HE MAY BE. Especially when the conductor knows you by name. Sigh. Went to Parkway, developed photos, read the English book for next year (because I'd just bought it), played the marble game on my phone. Collected the pics, went over to Popular, got somemore stuff. Silly me; I've to go get more school stuff tomorrow and return the extra set of dividers they gave because I didn't check before I left school. Got home. Settled down, dinner, did some stuff, got online. I'll have to be off ASAP to write somemore Christmas letters, because I'm meeting Avryl and Wendy tomorrow.

Dec 27: Meeting Avryl to get her present, and her, mine. LOL. Choir thereafter. Then it's one last CIP session at the library this holiday with Wendy.

Dec 28: Cell gathering & sleepover at Amanda's!! Wheeeee. I've seen the POG people a lot this month. :D

Okok. that's enough nonsense. I think whoever has bothered to read all this from top to bottom Without scanning deserves a prize(:

Eh. To anyone who's been reading so far, thank you. I somehow feel the posts are pretty dreary to read. So uh please tag okay, if you ever come by. Haha. If I don't tag you back, come here and scold me, I'll go over. Unless my comp doesn't let me see your tagboard. Cause I've noticed that for certain people, that's what happens.

I'll quit putting out my holiday itinerary. It takes forever to post, and its too long anyway.

So I got a new phone yesterday. It's a Nokia (Hereafter known as N). But I'm not exactly using it now. I kinda prefer my old phone. The Samsung (S). For sentimental and (sometimes) practical reasons. Like, I can't transfer my messages, pictures, calendar entries and much much more over. The only thing I managed to bring over were the contacts in my SIM card. -.- Some things in the S are annoying- how the system screws up the dates and times of messages, how the new words I key in to the dictionary have a life of their own and disappear or overstay as they wish, the camera quality. But every cloud has a silver lining. The messed up dates on the messages make me more willing to delete them. (Closet neat freak as I am, the number of times I've used the 'delete all messages' function can be counted on a hand) The overstaying words/names/numbers help me remember the occasions I keyed them in. The camera took my first ever photo, on my first-ever camera phone. All the times I punched stuff into message fields in a fit of anger/love/joy. The messages that've made me smile, laugh, gasp and cry.

Okok I don't know why I'm making such a big deal out of this. Just transfer the SIM card lah, you must be thinking. Yeahyeah I do that already. I just use the N to play this really addictive marble-shooting game.

Gah okay I admit I ran out of inspiration because I went to look at some other stuff online. If not, I'd have written a nice long essay about my S and N.

Until then.

I'm breaking the rules. Not supposed to be here till now. Because now I'm only supposed to go online in the morning, and on alternate days only. -.-

"An incentive for you to wake up earlier", according to my mum. LOL. But I'm here because the past few days I had to go out in the morning, and I am looking for a job. As always, my life. Sigh.

Tuesday. Hmph. What did I do?? Can't even remember. Oh wait. I got traumatised. Yes. 2 minutes. Crazy 2 minutes. How many extra times did my heart skip?? GAMBOOZLES.

Wednesday. Ahh Choir. Thank you Elsa for the souvenirs you got us. Really really like them. :DD Oh and we got the 3 vouchers for the mini logcakes from Breadtalk. But more on that later. Met Wendy, had lunch, bought vanilla essence (no link I know), went to do CIP (hahaha).

Oh and there this super sweet girl who actually went up to Wendy to ask if she could take a book from our trolley. WOW right. I shall not bring up Contrasting real life case studies here, but we both were very impressed, happy, and perhaps even touched. She asked for a book on penguins, so we happily went to check out the computer catalogue for her. Tried a few times, but we couldn't locate the books. Then I think she went home or something. But. We found 2 books on penguins later, and actually tried to look for her. She wasn't there though. :( Wendy had to leave early for tuition. And I got the shock of my life later. Was forced to confront it (actually not an it). Parents picked me up from the library cause of the time. Went grocery shopping, and kinda made Mum buy pocky for me. HAHAHA. So, thanks Mum. Late-night call with Avryl, and thank you for all your advise, though I think I'll only be using it in the future. Super funny can. Especially the thing about hands. HAHAHAHAHAHA. ;D

Thursday- Woke up, got ready to go out with Mum, Dan, Joe, Aunt WK, Qi and Ning. Went to the Science Centre. Watched Hurricane on the Bayou, which was about Hurricane Katrina. Teared lah at some parts. But it was a good show. Anything at the Omni-Theatre is, actually. Checked out Snow City next door, and it was rather, disappointing. Lunch was at this Cafe at the SSC. The food... Lol. Nevermind. Viewed the exhibits, walked around, had tea at Macs. Then stoned as the rest of them siblings and cousins played at the Kinetic Garden. Went back on MRT, had dinner at the hawker centre in Marine Parade and then Music. HAHAHA ahem dear teacher Ivan didn't really listen to me play. No use listening actually, because I never practice the piece I'm supposed to play. He was, inspiring me to do Diploma. Next time maybe, but not now. Haha. The $$ is good though. Heh. Got home, found out someone from TK, from Sec 2 passed away. Big shock. Did what I could, prayed. I haven't expereinced this before, so I better not say anything else. But, my condolences.

Called Avryl again. Haha.

Have to go. I got caught. Bleagh. Continue soon, hopefully.
