Tuesday, November 24, 2009Helloooooooooo.I've a got a sore throat creeping up on me. Nasty. :( 'Hope Dad will let me go sign up with that job agency Dorcas and friends are with. He's coming back tomorrow, and Mum says she'll talk to him about it. I'm hoping he'll change his perception and mind. Cause I'm really desperate for a job, seeing as to how difficult it is for me to find a temporary, part-time job. I guess I'm pretty picky in not wanting to be a tele-marketer or flyer distributor or whatever..? Initially I wanted to work at Ben & Jerry's. (And no, not for free ice cream.) Then I thought maybe Ikea'd be nice. So I checked out the Ikea website, and realised the positions I could apply for were for the Alexandra store. :( So, WHATEVER, I pray the folks will give the green light soon, so I can go do waitressing at some hotel and earn some moolah. I hope to earn $300, but in reality I'm gonna have to try and work for $450 so I've about a $100 to spend on myself. Ayeaye. Went for Choir yesterday. But I didn't practice the carols with the juniors. -.- Ended up talking to Yu Han and Sheryl instead, cause they weren't there for carolling. Found out from Ms Tong that our -reward- for carolling with the choir was CHOIR HOODIES!! :D A bit late well yes, but better late than never! (As far as I remember, nobody's ever seen me with a jacket/sweater/hoodie over my pinafore; this year, I told myself I'd hold out against hail and rain while in school, until I got a Choir hoodie.) Mare, Fi and I later went to Gershwin to do a lil' bit of warm-ups, sing random choir songs, and cam-whore. Met Mrs Sew at the bus stop when I left! So I took the bus with her, chatting all the way till she got off. :) Met Dorcas and her friends later at Orchard Road. Spent the afternoon walking around the 2 (different) Far East buildings, Ion and Wisma Atria. Saw like 7 (!!) people from school and church during that process, most of whom didn't see me. Thank you Dorcas, Beverly, Hillary, Geraldine and Rachel for your company and food. (: NEIGH. A quiz. What was the last test you had on? Can't remember! The last exam was Chemistry MCQ though. Are you good at creating graphs in math? Yes, on good days. Oreo milkshakes or orange juice? The former! (Though I don't remember trying it. Orange juice... I've had a few disappointing expereinces with it.) Do looks matter the most to you? Nope, but it's pretty high on the list too. Have you ever had a lemonade stand? Nope. Do you hate it when people read over your shoulders? Yes. But I'm guilty of it too. Oops. Would you electrocute yourself as part of a dare? No lah please. Do you smile politely when someone comments that you’ve put on weight? Yeah I guess I will, but in my mind I'l be like "!!?! Really?" Unless of course I know I really have gained some. What do you plan to do with yourself as far as future education goes? Get a degree in sociology/psychology! Are you afraid to stay in a hospital overnight all by yourself? Why? Yeah I might be... Overactive imagination. Do you even care about world peace? YES. Who was the last person to turn you on? Huh don't have lah. Without stating names say something to three people: Do you mind if we crash your place? Are you going to Nat's on Saturday? Why you liddat??!? Do you currently have a hickey? NO. Ouch. If the year consisted of only one season, which would you choose? I dunno lah... Singapore's summer all-year round. Is there a girl that knows everything or mostly everything about you? Right now I think so... And a few at that. I feel as though I've told people a lot of things about myself. :O What's one thing you want more than anything in your life? To be the best I can be. (It sums up a lot of things.) Last time you had butterflies in your stomach? Naw I don't think so. What’s the best feeling in the world? Being in love... That just popped into my head. Would you ever shave your head to save someone you love? Mmhmm. Can you play guitar hero? Nope. When's the next time you will kiss somebody? I dunno. Do you wear the hood on your hoodie? N.A., cause I don't have one. Can you successfully blow up and tie a balloon? Yeah I think I can. But not without some air escaping by the end of it all. Do you bump into someone’s arm if you want to hold their hand? No! Do you want any tattoos? If so, where? Nah. Does the thought of marriage scare you? A little? At this point in time I can't really imagine being committed to someone for the rest of my life. Do you get the recommended eight hours of sleep a night? No, not usually. Most of the time it's a couple hours more or less. Would you rather have your nose or tongue pierced? Nose? But really, I'd rather keep piercings to my ears, tyvm. Are there things in your life that you'll never be able to get over? Yeah perhaps. Is there someone who loves to cause drama in your life? Nah. Got into major trouble in school? Yes, if detention class for being late counts. :S It sucks being let down, doesn't it? Duh. Can you handle a lot of drama? No. Not without getting emotionally involved at least. Can you count to 100 in another language? Yes! CHINESE YO. Have you ever donated clothes? Yep. What's the shortest length you've ever cut your hair? I dunno... Go see my baby pictures lah. You'll be awed by thy cute-ness. :D Do you always turn the light off when you leave a room? Nope. Heeh. Are you pregnant? NO. Are you one to be brutally honest? Nope. Have you ever used your bra to hold things like you would a pocket? No. Have you ever dated someone more than three years older than you? Nope. Do you think your life will change dramatically before 2010? Nah, not really. Is there that one guy/girl that you'll always have feelings for no matter what? I dunno... Probably yes. Did anyone inflict any physical pain on you in the past week ? No, I don't think so. Your ex REALLY needs you at 3am and you have a way to their house. Do you go? Uh huh. Think back to the last person you dated, how many times have you cried over them? Hmmm. Peaches or Mangoes? Mango please. Do you prefer writing on lined or plain paper? Lined! Does your fathers name begin with C, A, or R? None of the above. Ever kissed someone with brown eyes and brown hair? Nope. Are you wearing jeans, shorts, sweatpants, or pyjama pants? Err of the 4, I guess pyjama pants is the closest description. Do you know what high school your father went to? Yes. What were you doing at 12 o'clock last night? Probably lazing around. Have you chewed gum after someone else already has? Ewww no. Would you rather your partner have gorgeous eyes or a gorgeous smile? Eyes? Or both also can. :D Yellow fingernail polish: yes or no? Nah... Unless it's a really pretty shade. Do you call it sitting "criss-cross" or " Indian-style"? None of the above. Would you consider yourself to be a good cook? Okay at least, given instructions. Is your mind cluttered? Yep. Have you ever made a guy cry? I think so? What is your current mood? Is there a normal mood?? Can you cry now? Naw. Ever done anything illegal in a vehicle? NO. What was the last thing you put in your mouth? Fish I think. Do you look at the keyboard when you type? Yes, sometimes. Do you think you'll find someone to marry you? Heh yes.
