Tuesday, February 02, 2010Cheese my New Post page is a little out of alignment. : /Anyhow, hi world. I am still waiting for my appeal results. Kinda losing hope with one though. The other, I hope they'll get back to me as soon as possible! Don't like, really make me wait till Friday 5pm please. My poor heart can take the suspense no more. :( I got two calls during the Theatre Studies and Drama (no I'm not doing that subject; just sat in cause I'd nothing to do and was curious about it) lecture today from a landline. Had to excuse myself, because like, what if it was XJC??? I called back a few times, but the number was busy. So I went back to the lecture. And called again when I was done. Guess who it was- the job agancy I was at during the hols. I felt kinda embarrassed can. Like, so excited for nothing. Haha. Today, after school, I got home, daydreamt (haha is there such a word??), fell asleep. Duh. And when I woke up (but kept my eyes closed), the first thing that popped into my head and ALL I could think of was that appeal to X. That magical call. Seriously. You know if I could focus with such intensity on mugging last year, I wouldn't have to go through all this because I know more or less I'd have done well enough to get to X via DSA/JAE. Talk about bad timing man. -.- I eventually had to do MATH (yes seriously; it's a worksheet from last year by Ms S on Mensuration and Trigonometry) to get my mind off it. Geez. A little more about thy school day- I had my first H1 Math lecture today. Just an introductory one, telling us about the stuff that's gonna be covered in the coming months. Found out that we have to buy a very expensive calculator too. You know, it's quite a shock to find out that it's gonna cost a HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS when initially I thought it'd be like, around 25 bucks?? The Math lecturer seems pretty nice. :) Kinda soft-spoken too. We were done with the lecture after about a mere half an hour. YAYE OG (Orientation Group) BREAKFAST AT TAMPINES MART MACS TOMORROW! :D Since there'll be "lesser chance to meet up in the future when everyone splits into your respective cg" (I quote my OGLeader Marietta), and school starts at 0830 tomorrow. Oh and I'm from OG2, by the way. Haha. (You can guess where I currently am schooling now lah huh.) A special shout-out to everyone I've been talking to these few days- Sam, Eunice, Joelynn, Felicia, Tze Jie, Sherene, Yun Zhen, Si Ying, Zann, Nasyitah, Sin Hang, Aik Teck, Rachel and Tulica. (sp!) :D Okay I gotta go before my eye circles get darker, I miss the ride out tomorrow/have no energy for PE and CCA fair/Mum kills me. Night! |
